Behavior differences we flag
These functions are supported in both apps, but can behave differently between Excel and Sheets.
Migrating from Excel to Google Sheets
If you use formulas a lot in Excel, moving your trusty spreadsheet or template to Google Sheets can be a bigger headache than you'd imagine. While both apps share a lot of the same core functions, there are enough differences to break formulas or trigger some unexpected behavior.
Before taking your Excel spreadsheet from the desktop to the cloud, it's worth running it through our converter to flag any potential issues before you share it with colleagues or clients. This is a crucial step if you use complex formulas and if you're moving from SharePoint to Google Sites.
